Today I went to the International Glass Festival in Stourbridge. My sister has some work in the British Biennale exhibition so we went on a family visit.
I enjoyed my day out but today was very hot and I melted quite a bit in the heat. So after a full afternoon out, I was feeling overheated, tired with the beginnings of a migraine plus eye pain from the bright light. I don’t want to be too down about it because I actually feel that I’ve coped with a busy hot day fairly well. I did manage some painting this evening but the journalling just didn’t happen and I’m not going to do it now because it’s just too much.
For the painting I used light blue, white and grey in bands and painted across both pages. See photo.
